Bridesmaids and Guests and Weddings, Oh My! Fall Wedding Season Approaches!

Other than summertime, Fall is one of the busiest wedding seasons of the year - I've got at least two to attend in the next few months myself! Let me share some of my bridesmaid experience with you in these two lenses -

The Bridesmaid Survival Guide - A must read for anyone who thinks they might be asked to be a bridesmaid soon, this guide offers tips, tricks and jokes to help you get through the most important day in your friend's life.

Wedding Welcome Bags - With so many people traveling for weddings these days, nothing shows guest how much you appreciate them like a welcome bag left for them at the hotel desk. Here are my suggestions for what you should include in a wedding welcome bag.

Halloween is coming - are you ready?

Squidooers are in the midst of getting ready for Halloween, and I've joined the fun with three new lenses -

Vegetable Costumes - I came up with this lens for people who are tired of the same old Halloween costumes. Take a "fresh" approach this year with vegetable costumes! Everything from ears of corn to chili peppers and all veggies in between can go trick or treating this year!

Halloween Dog Toys - Don't you feel sorry for your doggie on Halloween? All those trick or treaters wearing strange costumes and knocking at the door is enough to make any pup start to loose their mind. Treat your dog - and keep him or her occupied - with these Halloween Dog Toys!

Halloween Books For Preschoolers - They're old enough to know and enjoy Halloween, but not old enough for all the really scary stuff, so what can you do with preschool aged children on Halloween? Read them these age-appropriate Halloween books - maybe even give one as a gift instead of candy!

Art Institute of Chicago

Continuing with my series about great Chicago area attractions, I've created a lens on perhaps the most significant Chicago museum, the Art Institute of Chicago. Please let me know what you think!

Adler Planetarium

Did you know that Alder Planetarium in Chicago was America's very first planetarium? Neither did I, until I started putting together my new lens about Adler Planetarium. Visit and let me know what you think!

Chicago History Museum

I've noticed that there's a lack of good information on Squidoo from locals about things to see and do when visiting Chicago. So, I'm going to start a series of lenses about Chicago attractions. The first is, appropriately enough I think, a lens about the Chicago History Museum. Please visit and tell me what you think!

Chris Hughes - Obama's Secret Weapon?

I just finished this month's issue of Wired magazine and learned about Chris Hughes, who was one of the founding members of Facebook and also the architect of the Obama online campaign. I have a feeling we'll be reading about him in history books in a generation, so please enjoy learning more about Chris Hughes on my lens.
